Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I visited Fort Erie this morning to see family. We're from Buffalo, NY and decided to have breakfast at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our bill came to 41.50 Canadian dollars, so I left 40 American dollars thinking that would cover the bill and leave a good tip. However, I later found out that they did not give me the exchange rate. As neighbors, I expected to receive the exchange rate like at other places. Unfortunately, this meant that I did not leave enough for the bill and my waitress did not receive a tip. I feel awful about this situation. The restaurant essentially made extra money by not giving me the correct exchange rate. I believe this is unfair and I will not be returning to this restaurant. I will also be advising my friends in Buffalo to avoid this restaurant because they take advantage of Americans.
The new owners have improved this beloved old restaurant even more! Don't miss out on their delicious hamburgers and fish and chips. And for breakfast, you have to try their amazing omelet made with three eggs, it's sure to satisfy your hunger.
I have eaten here for breakfast on many occasions, and meals are always delicious. There are a variety of breakfast dishes; the Omelettes are gourmet. It can be overfilled at certain times. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I recently enjoyed a delightful Sunday brunch at Royal Town Diner. I highly recommend trying their 3-egg dish and don't forget to add some extra toppings. Their Home Fries are a must-try as well. And for coffee lovers, my wife says their coffee is excellent.
It is now called the Chuck House Rest. Breakfast is very good. They also have a Waffle with fruit also very good..
