Waltzing Kangaroo - Fort Collins

We went for lunch with zero expectations and were blown away by the flavors. You will not be disappointed, this place is bubbling over with taste. I haven't had better-mashed potatoes since maybe when my son came home from studying culinary arts in France. We will be back to try every pie we didn't have today... I had the steak and gravy pie and my James had the Guinness mushroom and steak pie, both were outstanding. Thank you Waltzing Kangaroo for being amazing.

My coworkers were placing an order today, and I ordered too out of curiosity. My food had been sitting on our break room counter for over an hour before I had a chance to taste it. A non-descript white styrofoam box opened to a flavorful rich pot pie with a fresh baked flakey crust! If you haven't tried one, you simply must!

SO DELICIOUS! My fave is the Chicken with white cheese Tucker Box with Mashed Potatoes and Mashed Sweet Potatoes! And I can never pass up the Frsh fruit tart! Also an awesome staff!!

I discovered this little gem of an eatery last Spring while in town for a CSU campus visit with my son. Wow! The place is spotless clean, the staff very friendly and the food is remarkable. On my first visit, I had no appetite left to try some of their desserts, but on subsequent visits I did, they are equally as good as the meat pies. The WK is now a must-visit for me each time I come to Fort Collins, now I just need to convince its owners to open a satellite location on the East Coast so I can indulge in their great food more often!

Great pies! A fancier (but not too fancy! version of my go to snack while driving around New Zealand. Pastry was perfect, fillings generous and very delicious. Of note, the custard tart for dessert was lovely it had kind of a shortbread style crust that was perfect in texture and flavor. All around great experience. We came up from Denver to try them, and were so impressed. Will definitely be making the trip back!
