Restaurant 26 - Forster

Great food, great service, the best fine dining restaurant in town.

We have just experienced the most delectable gourmet experience of the year. Our table delighted in across the menu experience. I'm sadden to write this review as everyone across the world will be champing at the bit to eat there. Quality, taste, service, atmosphere, and just having a party in your mouth of flavours leaves me speechless. 100/10. Ticks every box. Compliments to everyone.

Food was terrific and service was OK (busy evening) and only short walk from our house. Little more expense but food was worth it. Definitely come back again.

After a number of attempts to eat at this restaurant over the last few visits to Forster, we finally did it. The whole experience was wonderful. We had attentive staff, great food choices including daily specials. The entree of salt and pepper squid was so tender and tasty as were the Tasmanian scallops. For mains our party chose the beef and scampi which was absolutely delicious, the pork in pastry that was divine, the smoked salmon linguine - aldente. Deserts were wonderful traditional fare including lemon meringue pie, and banoffee pie, as well as a number of different affogattos (I recommend the peppermint one). The wait staff were wonderful, kind and happy to do their job. Try a cocktail, mojito yum and the other favourite was 'kiss my astroid'. It was a great night out with the family.

A really enjoyable night. Great service and Rick the waiter made the night even better. The food was outstanding and was also quick to the table. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
