Thai.pho - Forney

Unfortunately, I have experienced very poor service at this restaurant (which I’m going to blame on RACIAL DISCRIMINATION). I once frequented Thai Pho, but the last 2-3 visits (which have become more and more sparse as time passes) have made me wish that I had more local options to choose from. It is very difficult to receive even as little as human decency, much less decent customer service here is you’re black. Unless you make someone help you, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE SERVICE. They will walk right past a black guest/groups of black guests as if they’re invisible.I’m actually sitting inside the restaurant right now, waiting a To-go order that, in order to place, I had to advise the person who FINALLY came to the front that I should be first to order, not the white and Mexican gentlemen in line behind me (I stood at the podium for about 5 minutes.-About one minute in, I rang the “service bell” on the counter). The girl BUCKED HER EYES at me and was like, “HOW CAN I HELP YOU?!” I will most definitely be making the trip to Terrell for Thai from now on.OH, I almost forgot to mention the beetle that was in my daughter’s ice cream!To sum it all up……decent Thai and Taiwanese snacks….. WORST SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE EVER. What a waste.UPDATE (20 minutes post-review): All of that poor treatment, and my order was given to me INCOMPLETE, inside a staples bag. Called the restaurant, was left on hold, and subsequently hung up on.

Don’t order the cucumber salad it looks looks like trash and taste like it too. The the green and yellow curry are mediocre at bestFood: 1/5

I don't ever leave reviews unless I am praising or really really upset because honestly, I am not hard to please and very hard to upset. That being said.... I called to place an order for my wife and myself because we just had our baby 2 weeks ago and honestly just wanted to pick something up and relax today. We live in Mesquite and really wanted The curry from here and haven't had it in FOREVER. The lady takes my order (over $40.00) and then tells me they close at 2:45pm today. I tell her I am out the door! I knew I would be cutting it close but felt confident they would at least wait possibly 10 minutes if I didn't make it on time??? I mean, a 40 dollar order...I make it there 7 minutes late. I call....look inside and it is dark...locked...nobody there. I called my wife to see if they called before closing because the person taking my order took down my wife's number for contact. Nope....No call to see if I was close? On my way still? To me... just real bad business. I get it, you have to close until dinner but NOBODY was willing to CALL and verify if I was a few minutes away? Just screw the customer, let's close up shop and dip out.

This place is amazing! If I could give more stars I would! The place is clean an beautiful. And the food is amazing an aromatic an delicious. The waitresses an staff are the nicest you will ever meet. Cassi is amazing that you for the forever 39 cake!
