Bidrage med feedbackA super quaint restaurant located right by the waters edge. Was an old sea plane air port. There is an upper balcony which has great views. The decorations inside are all themed from that era. The best way to describe it is like a classic American diner. The menu is American fast food, the burgers are really interesting as they take the burger deconstruct it add spices and then reconstruct it. They then flame grill it. Was really tasty. There was beers on tap and a good selection of wines and soft drinks
Classic spot that is great for beers, but not so much for food. Very dry meat, boring condiments, not very tasty sauce, but good quality fries. Overall a really small burger with bland taste (The Classic burger). My partner tried the Moules Frites and they had a bad aftertaste on one in twenty shells. Not very tasteful when you have to spit out food due to foul taste, but at least she did not get sick afterwards. I don’t need to come back here unless it’s for beers on a sunny day.
Great place to dine in or out. I went for lunch with two colleagues and we all thought it was very good so, we went back at night for dinner too. Good service, drinks, food and atmosphere.
Cosy little restaurant just a few minutes walk from the Scandic Fornebu hotel. Seaplane themed with model seaplanes hanging from the ceiling. Specialities appear to be burgers and pizzas, but I chose the cod dish. A substantial amount of food and pleasant enough. I paired it with a glass of house white which was a Soave and actually quite good. Prices are reasonable for the Oslo area (Norway is generally expensive and Oslo particularly so). Note that alcohol in particular is heavily taxed here. Total cost: main dish, 1 glass house white and a cappuccino, NOK 533.
Good selection of menu options. Gluten Free buns available for the burgers.
