I had an absolutely fantastic evening at this restaurant with new owners. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, and everything was highly recommended.

The restaurant has new owners and the food is exceptional! It also offers good value for the price.

£40 for two people and we took our own drinks! not that impressed for the price, khans is better.

I went to this small, friendly restaurant last night with my wife. The staff were amazingly caring and helpful, and couldn't do enough to make it a highly enjoyable visit.Whist we looked at the menu, we had the special popadoms which were freshly prepared and a great selection of chutneys, pickles etc. We can highly recommend the onion in a red sauce (probably has a complex name). The sauce is complex in flavour we finished the pot! My wife doesn't like raw onion but she was eating this more than anything!We both started with prawn puri which was very tasty with a wonderful crisp yet fluffy and light puri.We then had chicken pathia, and a Jewel in the Crown. We have both had these in other restaurants so knew what to expect but were blown away by the quality of these dishes. The Peshwari naan breads that we had were light, and not overly doughy like you get from some restaurants.Bearing in mind you have 3 Indian restaurants in this small village you could easily drive past the New Bengal Village, but trust us, it is well worth finding and I can promise you that you won't be disappointed.

Always a First choice for when I feel like an Indian meal, friendly staff and often they throw in a free Cobra beer as part of the meal
