This restaurant is not worth the price. You can get a noodle bowl at the nearby crunchy chicken place, microwave it yourself, and it costs $10 less while tasting just as good. I won't be spending my money here again. The portions are disappointingly small for a pho dish, they should be at least twice the size given the price. I would rate the food 2 out of 5.
The menu at this restaurant is not your traditional ramen fare. Unfortunately, the service was slow and the employees seemed disorganized and unenthusiastic. To make matters worse, one of the staff members was rude when asked for hot sauce or chili paste. I was disappointed with my experience and will not be returning, despite the fact that I am a student nearby and love ramen. The price for two bowls of ramen was also a bit steep at $40, including tip. Although the broth was delicious, the meat was not the typical thin slices of beef I am accustomed to in ramen dishes, but rather a crumbled pile.
Not sure what the previous person was talking about the staff were super friendly with a smile on their face and prepared my order faster than what it took me to drive there. Ramen was incredible and at the first taste you can tell the broth is fresh and the noodles are prepared with love.
Forest Grove is a bit of a drive for me as I reside in south east Portland, but when I get the chance to or have the craving for... I definitely swing into Forest Groves best ramen cart. Bamen Ramen has great solid, creative and unique ramen options. Definitely a must check out when in the area. Let them know I sent you.Food: 5/5
