Max Deli - Forest City

First time here and it was pretty good. Cheesesteak had a nice flavor, Italian sub was good. Chili and onion rings were ok. Cheeseburger was very good. Will definitely be back.

Max's is a great spot. Today we watched Max cook our food, bring it to us, walk around and greet every single customer to top of their coffee and chat, AND wash the dishes. And we never once felt neglected. Quite the opposite. Us newbies felt welcomed in a crowd of locals. To make it even better, the food was excellent. We all got pancakes, eggs, and bacon and we cleaned our plates. Go to Max's!

I went into Max Deli today for some late breakfast and couldn’t recommend them more. The hosts were friendly and kind and I had the most delicious blueberry pancakes I’ve ever eaten : thank you so much ????
