Foothills Diner - Forest

Good food, and great staff. Plating might need a little work, not sure why I only got half a piece of toast.

Highly recommend The Foothills.We found this place on google maps, and decided to give it a try.Yaaaass is all I can say. We weren’t expecting such a cool dining/shopping experience in Forest, MS.They’re serving up a wide variety of food ranging across traditional southern fare like hamburger steak, sweet potato casserole, burgers, as well as Angus Steaks, pasta, salads, redfish, an appetizer drinks menu, and a case of gorgeous desserts that seem to vary daily.The dining area is actually in the middle of the gift shop, so be prepared to want to spend a few minutes shopping around for a gift, a little something for your home, or a candle.We’ve been back now several times, trying something new each time, and can honestly say with the exception of a piece of cake that turned out not to be our favorite flavor, everything from our service to our food has been two thumbs up.

Service was slow. Steak sandwich was as greasy as a Neshoba County Fair food stand a sad waste of $16. The baked potato was also doused in margarine, not real butter. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
