I love thick chips and custom made crepes and was so pleased that fred would deliver both. most often you get these terrible commercial crepes. but not at fred. he makes his own crepes and they are soou delicious. Actually, I had more to eat there than intended because eating was so good. I wanted to try the whole offer at snack the big fred. 30km went another day just to eat here. fred doesn't simp what he serves, it's very cheap and it's all delivered with such a big smile. can I import him to Australia?

Simply perfect I recommend very plat de jour (age wasted.) I ate only a few times, no problems with the like. beautiful tables under the trees next to the river.

We went for a walk after dinner and stumbled upon snack the big Fred. Ordered a lemon crepe that was prepared with a fresh lemon and sugar. Best crepe of the trip. Very friendly owner with a real espresso machine. Thanks Fred Jen and Brett

This is on the road up to the source of the river on the left. We had dinner there on our way back delicious kebab, cold beers, fantastic view of the river and gorge looking up to the castle. Perfect. Very hospitable people and...great value. Highly recommended.
