Gilles Frozen Custard - Fond du Lac

Loved it. It was Mom's Birthday. She has a hard time walking, so the car was perfect. Had a little B Day party. She opened presents and we had yummy burgers, fries and sundaes. The attendants were SO nice. And friendly! Even though it was packed, they still smiled! Will definitely be back!

Our car hop Megan was awesome! Very personable and inviting. The food was warm and cooked to perfection. Always love stopping here when we are up this way!

Always a great experience! The custard is not the only great thing about this place. The food is AWESOME! I absolutely lo e the banana boat. Fries are cooked to a crisp, golden perfection. Their price point is competitive but when it comes to quality, they are rivaled by few. Stop and grab a picnic table, order to-go or park and pig out!!!

A friend recommended Gillies to us, we had never been there. We absolutely LOVE the old-time drive up diner feel. The staff is so nice and the food is absolutely delicious! And let's not forget to talk about the prices. While everything else has seemed to sky rocket and become unaffordable, we are still able to afford Gillies generous prices and have a nice family outting and meal without breaking the bank. Gillies also has the most amazing ice cream! I will not willing eat ice cream anywhere else besides Gillies. If you have not tried it, we highly HIGHLY recommend that you do! This has become my family's favorite place.

It?s like Sonic meets Culvers. It?s half experience, half the food. One of the staples of Fond du Lac that?s still in business, the place is still brings smiles to kids and adults alike. And just because it?s not on the menu doesn?t mean they don?t have it. I used to get the Cardinal and School sundaes. I think the food hasn?t improved much since I was a kid but we don?t go there for the food either. It?s all about the custard in my opinion.
