Trattoria Pizzeria La Zinfarosa Di Lucaroni Stefano Alessandro C

Having booked in in a agriturismo in Foiano we were advised to try a local trattoria La Zinfarosa. We drove around this part of Toscany and came back for a dinner to this place. We tried different dishes, nearly a whole menu but pizzas, and were delighted with the tastes and falvours of the cousines. Everything tasted like at home. This family business (two brothers and their mother) make a nice atmosphere. It is a clean place. The service is quick and helpful. Stefano likes to talk to his guests at the end, and if the language is a barrier, there is always an energetic waiter Giani who comminicates well in English (our Italian is very limited). I think they are good promoters of the Tuscan cousines especially for the foreign tourists enjoying the local food. And they are the proud followers of the Azzurris during the carnival masquerade.

Dropped in late on a Friday night with no reservation and the host welcomed us with a nice table outside on the little terrace, very pleasant on warm summer evening. Lovely menu, we have had the pizza before here which is great so we tried the pasta and the beef tagliata instead, top notch.

Kind staff but very disappointing food. Pizza with burned and totally uneatable crust. Sauce and mozzarella on pizza without taste. The taste of pasta that my wife had, was like the one that you buy frozen in a store and prepare in a microwave. So disappointing eating for two with two drinks (beer and a glass of wine) for ridiculous 40 eur. Would not go again!

Posto bellissimo, cibo delizioso, personale molto gentile, tempo di attesa zero, cordialità e professionalità fantastica, prezzi eccellenti.
