Bangbelly - Fogo

Recently opened in July 2018, Bang Belly Eatery Cafe is a refreshing and inviting restaurant. Their light menu, featuring various coffees and teas, made for a delightful lunch. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the overall pricing is quite reasonable. We are excited to return for another visit.

Clean place, awesome coffee, good food. Major attention to detail. I'd sail from Washington DC any day to eat here! If you stop on Fogo, this is clearly the place to eat. The staff take pride in the place and are highly knowledgeable. Enjoy. Not to be missed.

Went here for brunch on our first day. Super cute little cafe. Wonderfully punny menu items. Went back again later on our trip for some delightful iced coffees. Also the layout and furnishings in the cafe/eatery are adorable! Super friendly service.

This restaurant offers multiple vegetarian options, many of which can be customized to be vegan. The staff is well-informed about vegan choices. The food and drinks were incredibly tasty!

This cozy cafe is run by the former sous chef of the luxurious Fogo Island Inn (an upscale hotel on the island with rooms starting at $2,500/night). The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my family's vegan dietary preferences. The food was delicious, offering a comforting and warm dining experience. In a small Island with limited dining options, this was a wonderful evening out for us.
