Bidrage med feedbackThe atmosphere was very nice. We went during the afternoon so our food was out very quickly. The stromboli is top notch 4 out of 5 and the cheese cake was delicious. We will be back.
I was with a group of 5 this evening for dinner. The food was delicious, but we waited well over an hour for our food to be served. There was no explanation offered and we felt ignored. If we had not been so hungry and tired we would have walked out. We will not be I returned to this restaurant this week and the service was excellent and the food delicious. Will keep returning.
One of the best italian restaurants around . Always order the cheese sticks when I come . They are the best . They added middle eastern food in menu and they are good too . Sad that they don't have alcohol anymore.
Since the new owners took over it 's really bizarre. It 's like a half ass version of Mediterranean Italian. They do neither super well, and they don 't have alcohol... what kind of Italian restaurant doesn 't serve wine at the very least? My biggest issue though- is the garlic sauce. They make it with mayo. So gross. Stick to ONE food category, and get your liquor license. Flushing could really use a decent place to eat, and this ain 't it. Fix your toum and make it properly, and I may give it a second chance.
Our experience last night was a complete crap chute across the board. First we found out that they only scheduled 1 server for the evening. ONE. For an entire restaurant. On Homecoming night no lo less. So I won 't necessarily blame wait times on her. I felt so bad she would be out in that situation. She had a private party of 25 individual checks and then the rest of the building. Second issue was that the new owners, without informing the public, removed alcohol from their menu. Not just some, but all. The main issue is that the name literally says spirits . Not only that, but an Italian place without wine makes zero sense. For drink and for cooking. As for food, there was none cooked with wine. There was no pork (an Italian specific). And the menu was small, generally bland and boring. Then, they decided to seat a group not just near us, but up against us. As in the backs of our chairs were touching. That 's bad protocol to begin with, but during covid it 's blatantly ignorant and dangerous. Not related, but their signs outside are not lit up, so our entire group drove by it individually. Which is annoying to say the least. The only good thing was that portion sizes were decent, but it was still expensive and a long wait for mostly frozen stuff. To summarize, just don 't come here. Owners have dismantled everything. Find another Italian place that is... well actually an Italian place.
