Bidrage med feedbackSo you're in the mood for soul food and where to go when in queens? Matzo balls, gefilte fish, and chopped liver are just a few of my favorites here. My mom's matzo balls were lead sinkers. Here they are, like floating clouds in the sea of chicken soup. Add a pinch of salt, and away we go. Now the gefilte fish. Once you taste these, you will never ever buy the bottle or cans. I get the whole loaf and prepare my own horseradish. I grind the root and lots of sugar and vinegar. Let stand for a day of so. Slice off the loaf of fish and add a heaping spoonful of my horseradish, and we are in heaven. As you read my reviews, I'm no foodie, but I do love good food. With that said, go to meal mart and try something that will make your taste buds explode.
Poor excuse for bacon. As someone who used to eat none kosher this is a joke! Rip off pricing for poor products! The funny part is it's call premium bacon ?
Everything you need for a Shabbos or Yom Tov. A little pricey, but everyone is now, especially this area.
If it's kosher they have it and it's always AWESOME!Great staff!
I have been coming here since high school when I lived in Queens. My parents introduced me to Meal Mart. The soups are better than homemade. Chicken, vegetable, potato vegetable all wonderful. The foods are too numerous to mention and all are delicious and fresh. I come once a week to stock up. I only wish they were in Manhattan.
