Bop's Frozen Custard - Flowood

Bops is in walking distance from my work, we go there to get the watermelon shaved ice. A good summer pick me up. If you sign up with their text, they'll send you free shaved ice coupons haha

I had visitors from Canada and we were on the hunt for a good ice cream shop. Came across Bop's Frozen Custard. The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. Was not very busy for a friday night. They have a variety of different options for your choice, whether you want your custard in a cup or waffle bowl. I ordered Kate's crunch and the Hawaiian crunch. Very much enjoyed. With every bite you get a mix of all the ingredients combined. I got the kid size because it waspretty filling. They also had clothing items for sale as well. Would definitely come back here!!!!

Updated 7/30/2021 Another hugely disappointing experience. Again, the only flavorings were in the very top of the cup. The photos are of 2 different Amazin' Grace concretes. Both served at the same time. This is twice. I do not know if there will ever be a third opportunity. We have always enjoyed Bop's until our last encounter. The Amazing Grace has been my favorite. This time, the flavoring was only blended in the top 1/3 of the cup. The rest of the cup containedplain custard.

I asked if they had chocolate custard. Yes. I asked if they could make the little Bubba with chocolate custard instead of vanilla. Yes. I asked for a little Bubba made with chocolate custard and hot fudge instead of chocolate syrup. The gentleman got confused, so I repeated the order. Waited 20 minutes to make it to the window, drive home, and it's made with vanilla and chocolate syrup...

The floor was nasty and wasn't swept. There's alot in the store that could be done as far as sweeping, cleaning, prepping. Most employees were sitting around being on their phones and 1 employee is sleeping on the chair. Only 1 employee is staying productive. The ice creams were great! Friendly staff.
