I recently discovered this restaurant located in Flower Mound Plaza on Long Prairie after an evening drive. It serves the best Indian food I have ever had. The service was fantastic - Lakshmi, our server, was very attentive, hardworking, and provided excellent service. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant because of her. The portion sizes were generous. I ordered the aloo gobi with rice and my favorite garlic naan, and also enjoyed some samosas. This restaurant is a must-try, with great support from the staff on-site.
I always search for gluten-free restaurants. we have despaired Indian eating, so I was thrilled to find out that the menu was mostly gf! the escapes we chose were delicious with a beautiful flavor. we enjoyed mainly the hunch due to the cold, the restaurant was busy with many take-out orders, but our waitress was still helpful and friendly.
I used to frequent Peacock Cafe, but now I have found a new favorite spot for Indian food. The customer service at this restaurant is excellent, and the food was delicious. Even when I struggled to explain a dish, the server understood exactly what I wanted. My fiancée and I enjoyed fried chicken, shrimp biryani, gobi fried cauliflower, and fried naan. The flavors were as tasty as homemade meals. We initially planned to take our food to go, but ended up dining in because we loved the ambiance. We will likely return tomorrow. The host was friendly and welcoming, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, if you are looking for a great meal, this restaurant is the place to go. My only concern is that next time I might opt for takeout as I am a bit paranoid about dining out due to COVID. However, the restaurant was clean and felt safe. I just wish there was less noise from cutlery scratching, as it can be bothersome.
I adore this restaurant so much that it was all I wished for Christmas! Indian Chilli was open on Christmas Day, and I was eagerly anticipating dining in here all holiday week. I have visited this place several times for dine-in and take-out, and the service and food have always been consistently fantastic. This is my top choice for Indian cuisine in all of DFW. The dining room also has a charming ambiance with hammered metal cups, silverware, and serving dishes. The attention to detail in the table settings, combined with the delicious food, make this dining experience one of my favorite places to return to!
