San Telmo - Flores

Quite shocked to see the low ratings as we had a great time at this place. We even came back a 2nd time on our short stay to have another cocktail. Granted, it wasn't busy so a low workload but it took a bit for our order to arrive. But when it arrived, we just loved the eye to detail and fruite flavours of the Margarita. Food was great too. Which is always a guess when you order vegetarian. They tried to promote their terrace upstairs even though the area downstairs is just perfect with the stunning view of the lake and the quirky decorations.

Great find in Flores. Very friendly owners. Great food, vive and view. You just can't go wrong!

Popped in for a dinner well after sunset. The place has a nice terrace with a view of the lake. The food is eclectic, a mix of Italian, American, Asian and local. Drinks are actually cheap if you happen upon the happy hour, my beer was 2 for 30Q so just under 2 dollars a bottle. Pizza will cost you 10-12USD, a bowl of Pad Thai noodles about 7 or 8. Not too bad, I'd come back here again.

The menu looks great, but the food just didn't taste good. I got the Mandala bowl which arrived with undercooked, hard white rice (instead of brown, as described), and no avocado (which was why I ordered it), and barey-warmed tofu. The kale was yellow and not fresh. The bowl had almost no flavor. Adding salt and hot sauce helped a little. It just didn't taste good, didn't sit well in my stomach, and I couldn't finish it. The waiter was nice but seemed like a beginner and wasn't able to answer questions about the menu. Overall, I would not return.

We absolutely loved it here- choice of food is great and loads of healthy options, prices are one of the lowest on the island. Views are just amazing, perfect spot to watch sunset. Definitely recommend!
