Organic Coffee, Iron Mountain, Mi

Probably the most beautiful, clean, and conveniently located venue in our area for small to moderate size gatherings. LOVE!!

I'm in heaven. A totally gluten-free place with vegan and natural meat options. Plus I love the fireplace and cozy nooks to find and work. Ask about their lunch specials and new teas.

What a lovely little surprise in Iron Mountain. Lovely reno of an old building bright inside but also has outside seating for the warm months. I was pleasantly surprised by a menu that looks fabulous breakfast, lunch and all day items that looked really good we weren't hungry but did split a tasty strawberry/rhubarb crumble just had to try it and it was good. They should have offered or I should have asked for it to be warmed up. Husband enjoyed his latte and I ended up with a tumeric latte I need to get more turmeric for my achy bones. I thought it would be a latte with the spicy turmeric added but it had no coffee just they numeric syrup infused in warm milk (I assume). It was absolutely delightful perhaps because I had no idea what to expect. Hot, thick, spicy and sweet (not too sweet) absolutely lovely. Didn't get my caffeine fix but I was happy!

While visiting relatives in the area, I stumbled upon this fantastic cafe with the only gluten-free kitchen in town. The cinnamon rolls, stuffed peppers, and coffee were all top-notch. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a relaxing hangout. Great job!

Certified gluten free was the beacon of hope in the eyes of my celiac friend who feared nowhere in Iron Mountain would be a safe place for him to eat...so much so until we found this location on our weekend in town he has been snacking himself to death on packaged foods. Luckily we found Organic Grounds and his heart grew three sizes today as his wheat-less hangry self devoured every morsel of a freshly baked cookie and breakfast egg bake.
