Caffe Del 900 - Florence

The upper room of the restaurant opens to the Arno River and the view across is beautiful. I enjoyed a good salad with a friend, sitting in the open air and chatting.

My husband I were staying at the St Regis in Florence wanted to find a place for breakfast nearby . After a short walk along the Arno river we stumbled upon a charming cafe. We wanted to dine there as I loved the interior decor when walking to our hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast which was delicious reasonably priced . The owner Federico) was charming engaging! The staff was also very friendly ! I highly recommend it !

After all the amazing food throughout my trip, figured there couldn't be a bump in my culinary experience. Hit that bump at this place. Food was tasteless, mushy, service so so, timing was off. I was halfway through my meal when bread was brought out. Then the parmesan was brought out at the end of our meal with an apology for forgetting to bring it out earlier. We didn't rush through our meal so you could imagine our surprise at the timing.

Nice coffee near the center. possibility to sit at the outdoor tables. friendly service.

Excellent coffee, super friendly staff excellent sandwiches, excellent chicken club sandwich.
