Buca Mario - Florence

Great. a cozy place with very kind and friendly staff. great food. highly recommended.

This restaurant is the one I liked most in Florence. It occupies the basement of a palace (that's why Buca has to go down the mouth of a gallery). The service is superb and the quality of the fantastic dinner. It's elegant but informal. I had tried other chuletons (bistecca fiorentina) before but the juice, taste and point of this I still remember. I recommended it to some friends recently and they became enchanted.

Nice environment, very nice and personal careful sin however that prices are very touristy. quality is good but I repeat for some dishes the cost is exaggerated. However I will return because for special events is suitable.

I go to Buca Mario since many years. It’s always a culinary pleasure to go there. Every single plate is delicious and they haven’t lost the quality since many years. If you want real Tuscan food they are the best.

I visited the restaurant during dinner time. The wait staff asked me to wait outside while they were checking for tables availability. Even though there were multiple empty tables inside, the lady, who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant, seemed to be offended by our skin color as she told us that the restaurant is full.
