Dos Palmas Island Resort - Florence

So much food served for our day tour. Yummy and filling. Excellent service. Turtles laying eggs totally unforgettable. Snorkeling among giant clams and colourful fishes. Guides and very friendly.

This place has the beaches, the turquoise waters, the entertainment, the staff, the wildlife to make a dream vacation happen. The hotel itself is nothing to write home about but it has enough to keep you comfortable throughout the stay. The staff is very attentive and they seldom disappoint when it comes to addressing your needs. The food amenities are very good. I love the breakfast buffet. More then enough variety to get a great start to your vacation day. They offer a lot of vacation activities like snorkeling, island day trips, night entertainment to keep you and the family busy and entertained. The beaches/surf are pristine and will provide amazing snapshots to brag on your social media. This place is a bargain if you book correctly. We did it through Expedia and between the inclusive breakfast we hardly anything to spend out of pocket. That leaves anough bidget for spa massages and mani pedis galore. I would definitely come back to this island paradise resort!

Hats off to the staff for making our family vacation memorable. This island's a paradise. From the welcome drinks to the free snorkeling activity and the extraordinary firedance, everything was a bliss. I just hope they pay more attention to the towels which are in dire need of changing and the small repairs that need to be done in the bathrooms. The restaurant staff could be more attentive and prompt to the needs of the customers. Overall, this is a good place for families. When booking, please ask for the boat departure time to the island itself. We waited for at least an hour and a half. If your flight back to Manila is still at 4p, you still need to leave the island in the morning. Their boat departures have limited schedules.

We did a day tour on a Monday. We basically had the resort to ourselves. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The food was delicious. However, be aware that breakfast sausage basically means hot dogs. Snorkeling was lovely. The facilities definitely need maintenance. On the whole, it was a tranquil and enjoyable experience. I don 't know what the rooms are like because we were not overnight guests.

Looks really nice and secluded. The 1hr wharf ride can be a little challenging when you approach near the island so you have to prepare for a motion sickness. We went on a day tour and at lunch they gave us too many food only for 2 people I think it would be better to just let individuals hey their own food rather than plate them on each table bcoz there are just too many food waste if that table only has 1 or 2 people. It's a completely nice resort perfect for relaxing. I just really hope that the security of the area is tighter now after that abduction incident that happened years ago.
