Bidrage med feedbackGreat Italian pizza, but it was a bit hard. good choice for a family or a cheaper couple dinner. about 8-9 € for a pizza.
My man and I had not booked a table for lunch, but soon found a table in the sun. the waitress did not speak much English, but she took our order efficiently. the wee came in a rustic churning that was added to our German experience. in an Italian restaurant! eating was good and cheap.
We had the doc pizza dolce vita and the often roasted salmon with lemon and capern. both are excellently prepared. the pizza crust was crispy and the nice top were delicious. the salmon was moist and very tasteful. the Italian rose wine was of superior quality. the staff was helpful and very friendly. we will eat here on our next trip to flensburg again.
Good pizza's for reasonable money. Friendly staff. Located off the main street so a bit tricky to locate.
My husband and I were in Flensburg for the weekend. On Sunday we found out that most of the restaurants were not open. We eventually found the Roma Restaurant about two in the afternoon. It looked quite pleasant and warm from the outside. We thought...that in the summer it would be lovely to sit in the garden. When we went in there was only one table occupied in the area we were shown to. There may have been another table or two in the other direction. The restaurant was divided into sections and there was also an upstairs seating area. As it was a cold, snowy day we were glad to be shown to a window table where it was light and next to a warm radiator. We were glad of this as the restaurant was quite chilly. It took quite a while for a server to come to us and give us menus. Eventually, we ordered our meal. My husband ordered lasagne and a salad and I ordered pork medallions. (Scaloppina Tosca). We ordered half a litre of Chianti and some table water. The order took ages to come. We were surprised as by now there appeared to only be one other table occupied in the whole restaurant. When we did receive our meals we were not that pleased. I had a side dish or broccoli and potatoes to go with the meat dish. The broccoli was very hot to start but cooled very quickly. This usually happens when it has been microwaved. It was also tough which is another indication. The potatoes were ok although some were not cooked as well as the others. The meat was quite dark and not very tasty. I ended up not eating very much of the meal. My husband said his dish was good as there was not a lot you could do wrong with lasagne. He also thought it had been preprepared and microwaved. The wine was the best part of the meal. We did not order dessert as we had been in the restaurant for too long and there were no other people there. The toilets were upstairs and were clean and well maintained but it was a cold, unfriendly restaurant and we would not dine there again. The meal was not expensive coming to just under 38 Euros for the food and wine.
