Cafe du Midi - Flayosc

Very honest and fresh dishes. We had lunch twice: salad with pebbles salad, Caesar salad

I have been going to Café du Midi for many years and it was always a nice place to go, but when I came back to Flayosc this year, it had changed owners, the new owners are Estelle and Bruno. They made such a difference to what was already a good cafe bar and turned it into a wonderful cafe bar and brasserie. In recent years it is somewhere where I wake up my morning coffee and rosé and watch flayosc, but this year as well as do that we have some brilliant meals there, breakfast, lunch and dinner and the standard is always 100%. They use fresh local ingredients, the chefs who are a few young guys are very talented, they create excellent meals that are well presented and are a very reasonable price. There is a wide range of coffee, teas, ice cream, beer, wine and spirits, the breakfast rosé is a very pleasant way to start the day. Service is always efficient and with a smile. Estelle and Bruno are very gifted owners who work as hard as their staff, and are very friendly helpful people, Estelle speaks excellent English (Thanks Estelle, my French will be better next year) The lower line. If you need to find yourself in Flayosc and sit somewhere, relax, drink a drink, a snack or a complete meal you won't find anywhere else that is friendly or better value for money. We had a nice group lunch today on the patio. The majority of the group really enjoyed their choice, but I believe mine was not fresh possibly frozen and reheated. But as the rest did enjoy I rated them as very good. I would...come again, but stick to the recommended specials.

Forget about reviews written some ago, this Bar brasserie has reopened with new owners and new chef. The food is almost all made on the premises, well cooked and tasty using good ingredients. Ideal for a lunch or reasonably priced meal. Flayosc already has...several good quality higher end restaurants, the revamped Midi will ensure a good mid range alternative.

Cet avis reflète notre propre expérience et la réalité de ce que nous avons vécu , nous n'avons pas l'habitude de laisser des avis négatifs mais là nous sommes extrêmement déçus .Nous sommes venus un soir début aout pour manger une glace , nous avons dû attendre un long moment avant que quelqu'un vienne prendre notre commande , je commande une glace et mon conjoint un cocktail sans alcool et la serveuse revient quelques minutes plus tard en nous disant : " désolée il n'y a pas de cocktail sans alcool ce soir " deja tres étrange mais il aurait été préférable de l'annoncer à la commande . Il fini donc par commandé une glace et contrairement à moi qui avais pris 2 boules avec chantilly lui a juste demander 2 boules et on lui amène 2 boules avec chantilly ( supplément chantilly à 1€ ) Deux dames se sont installées à côté de nous et n'ont également pas compris pourquoi malgres les multiples signes fait à la serveuse celle ci les ignorait totalement . Nous avons vraiment eu la sensation de déranger plus qu'autre chose vu l'accueil et le service reçu , nous avons consommer nos glace et ne nous sommes pas attarder sur place car ce fut un moment plus désagréable qu'autre chose ! Le point positif car il est important de le souligner quand il y'en a c'est la qualité de la glace artisanale qui avait le mérite d'être bonne .
