Bidrage med feedbackGreat coffee. Full bar available. Brunch served buffet style. The whole atmosphere is upscale casual. The soups were clearly house made and delicious. The salad bar small but mighty. The charcuterie was excellent. There was a delicious hot selection. And I loved the omelette station. There were also carving station and dessert station. There was plenty without being overwhelming. Plenty of seating but it never felt crowded. We felt relaxed and always well attended to. Thanks for a great experience!
I tasteful gem in the mountains near Asheville. After years of going to the Grove Park Inn, eating a list and satisfying, overprice buffet for special events. The Seasons buffet was a wonderful change. The quality of the food was excellent. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and you could ask for your slice to be cut at the temperature you preferred. The shrimp, oysters on the half shell, and other seafood was tasty, and as fresh as you could get in the mountains. There were ample amounts of other types of food, and a wide variety of desserts. I will happily return for special events and also to try their regular menu
All of the serving staff are very good, but we often seem to have Melissa H; a true professional. My wife thinks the Seasons Dry-aged Duroc Pork Chop is the best she has ever had. A pretty good compliment from a culinary school graduate. I had never heard of Seared Red Drum fish. Melissa took her time to make sure I understood what it was, thanks! Almost forgot to mention the wooded setting. Please be careful of the steps to the restaurant. They are uneven.
My husband and I, with 3 other couples went to Season's restaurant yesterday, April 13th, with a 12:30 reservation. We are very sad to say that our experience was probably one of the worst experiences we ever had at a restaurant. We waited an hour before we the waitress took our order, and then amazingly, we waited about another hour before our food arrived. 7 of us had salads which need minimal prep time, one person had quiche which was probably re-heated. The salads were ok, but not exceptional. 2 of the meals were sent back because one was wrong (spinach instead of no spinach) and for the other the shrimp was too salty. We had to remind the wait staff to bring soup that one of our friends ordered. And there were minimal apologies or concerns from the wait staff and no manager ever came by to extend any courtesy to us. All in all, it was a very unprofessional and dissatisfying experience.
We usually eat here befor events at the Flat Rock Playhouse. Always have excellent food and service. The fried zucchini strips are amazing.
