Bidrage med feedbackI went to dinner at Granny's Closet on Friday night and was seated at 9:15 PM in the dining room. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and requested water with lemon to drink. Our waiter promised to bring the lemon but never returned; in fact, that was the last time we saw him until he came back to inform us that he had entered our order incorrectly. After waiting 45 minutes, another server arrived with Chicken Parmesan and a steak knife on the side of the plate instead of the silverware we needed. The waiter came back to say that he had mistakenly put in the wrong order and would enter it again. It seems they don't know how to treat their customers well. Perhaps if we had gone into the bar and had a few drinks, our experience would have been different, but don't expect to have a meal here. This was a huge disappointment.
Granny's has been a staple for ages. I recall visiting in the late seventies while traveling through, where we enjoyed excellent steaks and danced on weekends with a DJ. Unfortunately, the place has now turned into a typical spot serving fried food and pre-packaged iceberg salads. The bar area feels cramped and unkempt, with old, tattered chairs. The only redeeming aspect is the booths that come with a TV, which are in high demand. However, they can’t compensate for the decline in food quality.
I dined here several years ago and had a positive experience, but unfortunately, things have changed for the worse. I was quite disappointed this time around. The appetizers came out with the main courses and were cold, and the food itself tasted like it came from a package. Using Bacos as toppings is not acceptable; they aren't real food! Additionally, the service was very lacking.
