Hy-vee Market Grille - Fitchburg

Hands down, the best grocery store in the area. Customer service is in no case. Meat department goes on forever. The bakery is amazing. The largest selection of foods everywhere. Loading large local products. Unbelievable, fresh production department. Liquor department is huge with a tasting room! . Eating is to die. Take and bake pizza is delicious. The market Grill Restaurant has a complete menu with delicious food, full bar. Gourmet cheese counter is incredible. Salsa Bar, Salad bar, Humus Bar, Gelato Bar...

I love shopping here! Everything is fresh and well presented. My favorite is her Asian food bar, but had great hot food experiences in all departments. Your cookies are my favorites and my children are lucky to have them every time we shop there (and a beef stick and banana). It helps my shopping experience to give them some snacks as we walk around. You may not be the "most chic grocery store, but it's a good value.

This review is for Fitchburg Hy Vee's Catering Service. An organization that I am, the Madison-based association of church musicians, took a chance and decided to have Hy Vee a dinner for one of our events, although none of us in the planning committee had any experiences or had even heard any comments, good or bad with Hy Vee's catering service. If I could give Hy Vee's Catering Service 10 stars, I would! It was fantastic. We had a two Entrée buffet from Bratpork-Loin and vegetable lasagna with sides of roasted potatoes, glazed baby carrots and dead salad. It was all fresh, tasteful, ready for perfection, and generous portions... and the price per person was incredibly reasonable. The staff who deliver and set up the food were professional and helpful, like Stephanie, the manager. I was in a number of similar things over the years, and that was without question one of the best. The quality of the food would put many restaurants to shame. I would use Hy Vee's Catering Service again in a heartbeat.

My fiancé and I have fallen in love with Hy-Vee on our many trips to Des Moines. We live in Wausau, so going to a Hy-Vee was a rare treat for us. After realizing that none of the stores in Wausau compare to Hy-Vee, we have decided to start taking monthly trips to your store to go grocery shopping! Between your awesome prices on your Hy-Vee products and fuel perks, it is well worth the two hour drive! We do have one request, though. We LOVE your pretzel buns (especially when filled with your burgers that have the bacon and cheese in them! Would it be possible for you to sell a brat version of your pretzel bun? Thank you for all you do, and we look forward to a long standing relationship with you!!!
