Haveli - Fitchburg

I have the Lamb Saag-Curry with Garlic Naan for recording, and I must say that this is quite likely the best curry I had since I lived in Asia. The Naan was generously cut and had a perfect texture, fluffy and tasty. The curry was now perfect, just the aroma I remember. Only the question I had was the spices or their lack; I asked for EXTRA-Spicy, but it was a sharp one best. I come here regularly, no question.

It's amazing! The food is always wonderful. I love all her Masalas. You also have great naans among other bread! They also give you the opportunity to adjust the spice level. Her hot spice mirror is hot, but still tastes wonderful!

The service was friendly and helpful, but the food was only “OK”. I ordered butter chicken and kheer. The butter chicken sauce tasted thin (not complex as butter chicken usually tastes) and the chicken structure was slightly rubbery. The Kheer was absolutely delicious. Maybe. I'll try another court next time. I would hate to write this place after just one.

The food is Americanized for the local population! It's not flavourful like an Indian food but it does taste good. Will visit if you're not from India and not used to the authentic Indian taste!

I have always liked Haveli whether it's for dinner of the menu or lunch buffet. I'm vegan and appreciate that vegan entrees are marked on the menu. They are also marked on the lunch buffet and the staff are very knowledgable about ingredients. I always leave full!
