Francesco Vini - Firenze

Easily the best meal i’ve ever had. We ordered the wild boar ragu spaghetti and beef stew in wine pepper sauce with truffle mashed potato. It was absolutely beautiful. Can barely describe how good this meal was. Our waiter Nazareno was very kind, giving great recommendations and was very professional and attentive. Next time we’re in Florence, this will be the first place we come back to.

We spent several days in Florence and Francesco Vini really stands-out as our favourite meal. We started by splitting portions of fried pasta dough (served with tuscan prosciutto e cream cheese) and Florentine egg Benedict (with truffled pecorino cream, spinach and crispy pancetta). We picked them out as something different and glad we did as both were wonderful starters. Two of us then split a Bistecca alla fiorentina with my wife and daughter ordering pasta. We ordered our steak rare with potatoes spinach and it was, along with the pasta dishes, cooked perfectly. I've not had another Bistecca to compare but as far as I was concerned it was pretty much faultless. The service was first-rate with our waiter perfectly balancing professionalism with being approachable and chatty. All in all a fantastic experience and the first place we will book if we go back to Florence.

Super service and a Bistecca Florentina at it’s best. The roasted potatoes are perfectly matching. Try also the Crostini and the Fennel Salami as starters.

My sister and I happened across this restaurant for lunch. So yummy! We shared Peruzzi arugula, pine nuts, pears and cheese drizzled with balsamic dressing and Tortellini stuffed with potato cream with green beans. Delish!

Really special location great choice of wines we ate an excellent steak and also first and starters were excellent the account is honest absolutely to recommend!
