Fondita Mexican - Fillmore

I visited the restaurant yesterday on Valentine's day and ordered the very spicy camarones a la diabla. Being Mexican, I am a lover of spicy food and requested it to be as spicy as possible. Unfortunately, the dish was not as hot as I had hoped for. However, the food was still good and the waiter provided excellent service, being very friendly and smiling throughout.

I wish I discovered this place earlier!!! I was able to sneak 5 Asada Tacos on Taco Tuesday at $1.25 each at 7:00 12-7-21. The Asada Tacos were delicious with a generous amount of meat, and the hot salsa was actually hot. Very impressed by this place will definitely be my Go-to from now on.

The Burritos and Tacos at this restaurant are absolutely amazing. I used to work nearby and would buy them every week. The California Burrito is a must-try. And don't forget about the sweet breads - they are also delicious.

Great home made Mexican food and pan dulce. Family has been serving for 24 years, I have enjoyed the red pozole and albondiga soup, also the fresh made guacamole, I buy empanadas to take home, worth the visit when near Fillmore.
