Pittenweem Fish And Chip - Fife

The restaurant greeted us with a warm welcome and cooked our fish and chips fresh to order. The haddock provided a pleasant deviation from the usual cod. It was an intriguing mix of a traditional chip shop, cozy sit-in cafe, and lively bar.

Our family of 8 had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The fresh fish and chips were delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was much calmer than Anstruther, which we appreciated. Definitely worth a visit!

We usually frequent the Anstruther fish bar, but during our visit to Pittenweem, we decided to give the local fish bar a try in order to save some mileage. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. Although it is only available for take away and has a limited menu, if you're looking for a tasty fish and chip supper at a great price, this is the place to go. Just a short drive away is the beach where you can enjoy your meal. We highly recommend it.

Got fish suppers from here when staying in Pitenweem with friends. The fish ewas excellent crispy, white and flaky with no oil on it. Chips were crispy and golden. Helps that they wrap the food in good old fashioned paper and not cardboard boxes which make the food sweat. As good as other award winning chippies without the need to travel.

Basic, no frills fish and chip shop. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We both had fish suppers so can’t comment on rest of the menu but we enjoyed them so much we had to return a couple of days later.
