Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant was bustling on graduation day, with courteous and hardworking staff who were clearly working hard. The drinks and cake were delicious. It was enjoyable to sit outside and observe people. Overall, it was good value for money.
I am a fan of Costa Coffee and visit their stores daily, so my trip to St Andrews was no exception. The service was average, neither bad nor exceptional. The store itself appeared a bit worn out and could benefit from a renovation. However, the coffee was made well and I really enjoyed it.
This particular Costa location is facing some challenges. It appears to be struggling with high staff turnover, leading to a lack of employees on duty. This has resulted in the use of disposable cups due to a shortage of staff to operate the dishwasher and clean the tables and restrooms. The unhappy staff and power dynamics among employees suggest potential understaffing and management issues. The coffee is decent when the machines are working, the cakes are satisfactory, but the sandwiches and other items on the menu are unimpressive. On a positive note, the back of the shop provides a quiet space to work without being disturbed by staff. Overall, this Costa would benefit from a revamp in staffing and management to improve its operations.
I've made the switch to studying in Costa after Pret being too busy! Atmosphere is okay, can be a little loud at peak times! Coffee snacks are great though, staff are friendly too! Especially Rebecca!
Always have hot chocolate on visits to other Costa,s and always they are very good have a good chocolate taste with a slight froth. All good, but not on our visit to this store. It was like a cup of hot milk. Very disappointing. It should be right first time every time.
