Moechnsjochhuette - Fieschertal

The service was excellent! The experience was second to none! If you are lucky enough to visit don't miss it!

Following a 45 minute walk across the mountain in the snow to the Hutte we were rewarded with fantastic views, and a spacious and clean restaurant, but the food and service let it down. The beers and coke were Walmart (the staff said they did not have a fridge, although it was -2 outside. The food appeared to be tinned and for the money was poor value.

Very memorable experience and worth visiting but a bit scary if its cloudy as you can't see clearly where your walking. Its not advisable if you have asthma and be prepared for altitude sickness.

Bei diesem herrlichen Wetter machte es Spaß die kurze Wanderung zur Mönchsjochhütte in Angriff zu nehmen. Die Rundsicht ist überwältigend. Leider hatten wir bereits gegessen, aber ich nahm es mir nicht nehmen noch ein kühles Jungfrau Bier zu genießen.
