We stayed here at the end of our tour of Italy for 4 days. We were the only North Americans and we felt kind of out of place. The staff were very courteous, nice and helpful but English was spotty. The room was excellent, spacious, very clean. Fresh towels for the beach everyday and nice boys came to put out our lounges and umbrellas. Kids stuck to the pool and the older people spent time on the beach. Breakfast was very good. Lunch could be had before 2 then , of course no food until 8. The only restaurant for miles was in the resort. It was ok but got tiresome after 4 days. Quality was average. Wine was generous and good. Wait staff had very little English and made mistakes in service. I had to pay for an extra dinner because they made the wrong dish when I pointed to it on the menu! For Sicily, I was disappointed that I did not see a lemon or an olive anywhere! Two of my favourite foods. The weather was perfect. Quite an authentic Sicilian experience. Italian speaking is strongly recommended.
This is the first time in Italy wher my salad has arrived first followed by my secondo piatti with my antipasti served a few seconds later. Both were hot dishes so I had to wof them down before either got cold. I commented on the order of service to the waiter but he simply apologized and that was it. To start with we had a group booking and two of us did not have our orders taken so we had to ask for this. Maybe the waiter was having an off day. I hope so

Six years ago we had the opportunity to celebrate our wedding here and from that day every year it is an event that you must not give up. You eat in a serene, charming and relaxing climate, a few meters from the sea. Staff service impeccablely. Anything you order from the menu is great, the fish especially. I recommend the BENITO appetizer and as first the PESCE CARBONARA. Try to believe!
