Raccano - FERRARA

I have been to this restaurant many times with good outcomes, but this latest time the service was very very bad. It took almost an hour to get the food, even though it was for lunch and the restaurant was not very busy. They opened the bottle of wine and didn't realize that one glass was missing, and as they were reminded, they did not think of serving the person without wine. It is small things like that which end up spoiling the experience. I hope it gets back to its former standards.

The Roverella Complex houses an excellent restaurant in the ancient halls of a convent. TasteFerrara cuisine with excellent cellar!

Lunch for two couples. Good to excellent starters and similar expereince with main courses. We are not italian food conneseurs but the tast was really good (risotto, taglitelle, etc) and quite interesting house red wine from Marche. The design of the place is simple and very nice. The problem was with the timing of food delivery. We all had to wait to make sure we all have someting on the table. Deserts servis got completely dis-syncronized. Yet the restaurant is on the good path to really good quality. Happy to come back.

Conoscevo gia' questo ristorante. Volevo prendere la mia famiglia dall'Irlanda e senza dubbio ho fatto una buona figura. i piatti erano eccellenti, sia per la qualità delle materie prime che per la scelta. mia nipote fan della torta tenera, ha decretato il vostro meglio tra tutti quelli assaggiati a Ferrara in una settimana di soggiorno i dolci poi (abbiamo provato tre) erano eccellenti! posizione meravigliosa, musica leggermente sullo sfondo che non crea fastidio e atmosfera rilassata e tranquilla. Bene!
