Pizza E Kebab La Stazione - FERRARA

I 've twice recently been to Ferrara for an aperitif with friends and afterwards chomped on enormous delicious panino kebabs which filled me up for all of €3.50. The other menu options are shown in the photo, does full pizzas too, plus there are various combos. The place is directly opposite the train station, mainly take away but on these occasions I sat at one of the four inside tables.

Two more visits to Ferrara, two more delicious panino kebabs here, for €3.50 a shot. I ate in once (there are four small tables inside) and once did take-away. The place is opposite Ferrara train station. The food is freshly prepared as far as possible, and far superior in quality price compared to the fast food chains. Does various kebab pizza slice options (see menu photo also for prices) as well as full pizzas too.

I found myself in Ferrara again and had another superb panino kebab here for €3.50. There are various other pizza kebab options, ranging from €1.50 for a slice of margherita pizza to €6 for piatto kebab.

This small place, virtually opposite Ferrara train station, has served fast food under various owners for at least 30 years that I know of, and probably a lot longer before. In its latest incarnation it concentrates on pizzas kebabs. I scoffed a very filling €3.50 panino kebab. There is also piadina kebab €4.50. Piatto kebab €6. Portion of chips €2. Slice of margherita pizza €1.50. Slice of topped pizza €2. Also does full pizzas, no idea of price. Portion of chips €2. Cooled drinks €1.50. Or full 1.5 L version €2.50. Piatto kebab chips drink €6. Piadina kebab chips drink €7. There are four small tables inside, most customers go for take-away. The cheap nosh is freshly prepared as far as possible and is gorgeous. A world away from the fast food chain rubbish. Friendly owner. Don't expect luxury though!
