Black Bear Diner - Fernley

My wife and I stopped breakfast on 12/26 on the way back to Las Vegas. After living in Fernley before, we were very familiar with Black Bear, and used to their great food and excellent service. This trip was not disappointed at all. We had both omelets that were very tasty and perfectly cooked. Our server was friendly, efficient and made us welcome. We were not in this restaurant in about 4 years, but we were pleased that service and quality still top notch!!

My son treated me for breakfast and the portions were huge and the food was delicious. I especially loved her hash browns, as each one of them was very crispy.

We stayed here at Veteran 's day to eat a bite. My friend and I have both withdrawn from the Navy. The waitress asked if we were veterans, and we both said yes. At the end of the meal she came back and said your breakfast is on Black Bear today. What a great surprise. Thank you Black Bear for your support from veterans!!

We called to get a table so my dad didn't have to wait long. It is not good; uses a walker and is in the middle of some medical problems. We arrived and sat on Father's Day within 5 minutes on arrival. Our food was delicious, and the service was good.

We ate there last night and it was absolutely wonderful. We had to bear paw chicken fried steak it was excellent. I know they've have new manager and new cooks and it's really made a big difference. Anyone who had a bad experience before like I did please try to go back again I'm glad we did.
