Bidrage med feedbackService was pretty good. Food took forever and it was completely empty and we only ordered 2 sandwiches with fries. Food was average at best, what you would expect out of a chain restaurant
Kelsey's is right at the foot of the Alpine Resort ski lifts, and is attractive in a pub-like way.The service is friendly, knowledgeable and slow. It was fine with us but- don't go here if you are in a hurry!I had the fish and chips- easily amongst the best I have ever eaten !! The cod was steaming hot, light battered, and flaky. There were two very large pieces of fish. The french fries were cut large and perfectly cooked. My wife had a mahi mahi sandwich which she toughly enjoyed as well.
Some Kelsey's are good, but this one somehow manages to routinely disappoint with poor service. They used to have special dishes, as in other Kelsey's, where you were guaranteed food in 15 minutes of you were in a hurry. They could never do it so just removed the option rather than working out why they couldn't deliver. It's that sort of place.
Kelsey's is conveniently located right on the ski hill, making it a great option for those staying in the area. I had made a reservation for a party of 20 on the restaurant's last night of operation. Gui, the manager, went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. He crafted three special dishes for us to choose from, as the regular menu was limited. The service was prompt, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the extra attention given to our large group was greatly appreciated. We would definitely return to Kelsey's in the future.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and portion sizes are generous, but the service can be a bit slow, especially for diners who are used to quicker service.
