Great, our waitress was great, helped with our decision for our meal. friendly best waitress in a long time \ngrouper/ coleslaw, blt/ hush puppies, great taste, hot, bacon is their mix of hauch of sweet quality \nvery beautifully decorated. a must try \u0026 see.

Love their hush puppies, mussels, pastas, and fresh fish! Can’t go wrong with their fish prepared either, grilled, blackened or fried . Always try stop by when we visit Amelia Island!

Old school casual restaurant right on the beach with great views. We sat upstairs and enjoyed happy hour appetizers. Mostly fried bar food, but still good. Worth going for the view

Worst management customer service in town. Manager failed to manage his staff situation properly to accommodate 30 guests due to a request to change locations for the comfort of the customers staff to make the restaurant a few thousand dollars on a slow Thursday night. My husband reached out ahead of time to celebrate my birthday here with 30 of my family members. He spoke to the manager the day before about sitting on the beach that if the weather wasn’t comfortable to be on the beach, we could move inside. The day of my birthday family arrived before we did called my husband to let him know it was a) pitch black on the beach b) chilly, so would it be okay to move onto the deck. Of course it would be. So they talked to the server who was super nice accommodating told them what tables to sit at, no problem. When we arrived, the manager informed us that my family just sat wherever they wanted (which was incorrect) would no longer receive good, efficient respectful) service (oddly accurate claim from the manager of said establishment). We were all stunned by this proceeded to greet our family to then have the manager come out scold everyone to sit down or we wouldn’t be served. After this rude disgusting display looking around at my family -paying customers with drinks ordered, ready to spend more on food more drinks. I asked to speak to this sorry excuse of a manager who explained that they had three servers dedicated to us on the beach but because we moved inside, those servers that level of service disappeared (along with any decency, manners respect) that if we didn’t like it, we could leave. So we did. All 30 of us walked out the door on a slow Thursday night for the sandbar since this manager failed to manage his restaurant effectively. Luckily Sliders up the road accommodated with open arms, smiles on their faces great service! Live music, lit up a great outdoor on the beach atmosphere we were looking for! We got apps and drinks before we even got menus at that sorry excuse for a restaurant called the sandbar. And all 30 of us will now let everyone we know, know about the sandbar’s manager his inability to manage his staff properly to serve food drinks to paying customers aka do his job. And we’ll never return. Spend your money elsewhere!

Great place!! Live music VERY loud Forget about conversation unless you sit outside. Food service excellent. A simple fried chicken sandwich best I’ve had. Staff friendly welcoming. Coming back!
