Sliders Seaside Grill

Nice location, friendly staff and good food. Always nice to have a good, local location. Could have had a little better beer selection. We were at the Amelia Hotel and it was very convenient. It looked like it had a very nice outdoor area, but weather was cold and overcast so we stayed indoors.

4:00 pm Friday afternoon. Seated inside because the music to loud. Sat right next to door leading to outside patio. Waited fifteen minutes , never even acknowledged after being seated. After we got someone to come over things got better.ordered salad and pineapple casserole. Order came out quickly and was good. I started with a poor rating, but I will adjust to fair. Maybe their was a shift change but came close to walking out

Chaos when arrived at 5pm. No servers. Ear splitting live music and told we couldn 't sit in the empty inside wo long wait. Stood waiting outside w drunk lady screaming, 2 dogs smelling each other 's rear, and after seated woman next to me picking her belly button. Wow my first impression upon arriving at Amelia Island. Only reason stayed was starving. My gut was saying run ! Ask for empty booths but server mumbled smthg about putting us at uncomfortable high bar stools while other pp who arrived were put in booths!!?? Then paid $65 for bland, small portion food. BAD experience!

We will probably give this restaurant another chance after our first visit tonight. I ordered the Seafood Feast, grilled and my husband ordered a bowl of Seafood Chowder and entree of Seared Scallops. My feast was very good but it had the worst Crab cake I have ever eaten. It had no flavor at all!!!!!. I had to cover it in sauce to eat it. It was that bland. Horrible. My husband's bowl of soup came in the tiniest bowl ever!! However, it was thick, creamy, and good, not overly delicious. The 4 seared scallops were good size but on a bed of grits, no other sides. I would have told our Server Alexis but she was nowhere to be seen. We waited and waited. Never were served refills which we needed. I had to flag down another Server to get Alexis for us. She finally showed up and said she spoke with others about 3 other customers having tasteless food. However, NO DEDUCTION WAS MADE ON OUR NEARKY $88.00 CREDIT CARD CHARGE. NOT HAPPY.

Fun evening and good food. We arrived on a Friday night and wanted an outside table. Hostess gave us a beeper and we were seated within 15 min. We were relaxing after a long drive (and snacking so we enjoyed drinks and appetizers instead of heavy or large meals. We ordered 3 Daughters Beach Blondes, Fried Oysters, Bang Bang Shrimp and Crab Cake. My husband said the oysters were very good (I don’t eat them ? , the shrimp was great and I loved the crab cake. Forewarning, the appetizer crab cake serving is only 1 of smaller size (for the picture reference it is served with a baked lemon . It was so good that the next time I would definitely order the entree size even when I wasn’t that hungry ?. Good outside live music was playing, place was jumping and the vibe was fun. Family friendly, pet friendly outside and we had an enjoyable time. We would definitely be repeat customers if we lived in the area.
