Bidrage med feedbackWe came to this vibrant sushi bar for a friend’s event. This is the first time I’ve had Japanese-Brazilian fusion. Both cuisines work cohesively in every dish! We got to try a bit of everything in the menu. You must get the Shimeji mushrooms. These little mushrooms pack a punch, they were cooked to perfection and that broth was complex and had so much depth. Umami for days! The salmon carpaccio had a beautiful citrus sauce that balanced the richness of that fish to perfection. The crunchy cream, deep fried cream cheese balls rolled in a thin slice of salmon. Crunchy on the outside with a creamy texture inside. This was a flavour bomb! The sushi platter was a delight. We sampled various signature rolls, high quality of ingredients used in every dish. For dessert, we had this incredible dulce de leche cake, a twist on a classic chocolate fondant that worked perfectly. Served hot with that dulce de leche oozing out. Still thinking about it. What a great way to end our night. The Caipirinhas are a must try, my favourite was the strawberry one. Service was fantastic. I’ll be coming back here next time I’m in Sydney.
A group of 10 of us went through this stunning restaurant last night. There was so many things on the menu we asked the wait staff to just choose for us and they did not disappoint! Highlights were the ceviche salmon and kingfish, shimeji and the stunning lava cakes with the Dulce De Leche being a total show stopper. They had great cocktails and it was BYO wine to boot! Fantastic restaurant, great food and service. We will be back soon!
