Bidrage med feedbackBun from Papparoti at #kingsford (similar to Rotiboy in Malaysia), especially good straight from the oven. I had it with my favorite drink, Cham (mixture of coffee and tea)
I’ve only visited once so far for a late-night coffee and first impressions weren’t all that positive. Firstly, the counter service staff didn’t understand the meaning of a decaf coffee in spite of the term repeated about five times. She needed assistance and the other staff member understood immediately. However, they didn’t know if they had any available and searched for a while so I just asked for a regular coffee in the end. <br/ <br/ The taste was alright. The tables and seating were a little cramped. It’s a little difficult to describe the ambience given that it was quite late and also raining moderately heavy outside. The café is quite open to the elements which could be an advantage at times.
The coffee bread is amazing! A generous amount of butter in the centre and crispy coffee shell on the outside. They have a variety of ice-cream which i have all the time with my coffee bread and is delicious! Will definitely come back here again!
Crispy on the outside with a warm fluffy centre makes it a sweet treat without being too heavy.
Coffee butter buns!. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by for a quick easy dessert. $4.50 for a soft fluffy slightly chewy bun w a coffee cream thats baked in the oven until crispy and a good healthy dose of butter on the inside, comes with a side of gelato or condensed milk to boot and is always a good spot to end the night after a good old indo feed on anzac parade.
