I spent a week working remotely from an Airbnb around the corner and this became my regular dinner joint. So many wonderful things about it. First, the food is excellent. Fish of the day perfectly cooked with the right combination of savory, sweet, and crunchy. An excellent duck salad. Creative appetizers like the asparagus with mushy peas and the quail with fried blood sausage. Not to mention the Sydney rock oysters. Excellent selection of wines by the glass, with a more extensive wine list by the bottle. Great mixologists at the bar: Josh made me an Aviation and a Corpse Reviver #2 without batting an eyelid. On my last night Tane made an excellent wet martini. But the best thing for me was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, welcoming me back each night. When I wandered in jet lagged, just before noon on my first Sunday, Darcy welcomed me 10 minutes before opening. Katy and Caitlyn found time to chat with me in a bustling schedule. I felt like a regular. What a wonderful place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is my favourite French restaurant in Sydney! the prices are but is reflected in the quality of the food and service. Staples to order include the tuna tartare and duck frites. I came here for lunch to take advantage of their 1 oysters (12max pp). New dishes I tried and love included the escargot salad and scallops. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
