Bidrage med feedbackMy family and I went out for a meal to celebrate my brother's birthday. We all liked our meals and had desserts too. I had scampi, chips, and peas followed by chocolate cake with ice cream. The staff was polite and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and reasonable prices.
I visited the Wetherspoons in Wisbech on Curry night, as I have previously enjoyed my experiences at other Wetherspoons in different locations. Unfortunately, the Wisbech branch did not meet my expectations. The clientele was rowdy, the bar staff were slow and unfriendly, and our curries were served cold and unappetising. The onion bhajis were too spicy and undercooked, and the naan breads were hard and cold. Overall, it was a terrible dining experience. In contrast, I had a pleasant meal at the March branch a few days earlier. I will not be returning to the Wisbech branch in the future.
I had a great experience at xxxxx! I stopped by for lunch and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was lovely, with friendly staff, and the overall value was fantastic.
We visited the Wheatsheaf Inn on a Sarurday morning after running Wisbech Parkrun as it was recommended by the Parkrun marshals as a good place for a post-run drink/breakfast. As we had a dog with us, we checked the website first and, as nothing was stated, we assumed that dogs were allowed in the outdoor seating area. When we arrived, there was a sigh stating 'assistance dogs only ' but as the outdoor area was empty, and there was a table right near the gate, we thought we would be ok with one very well-behaved dog. We ordered our food on the app. This was brought out to us quite quickly, the drinks by a young girl who looked at the dog but didn 't comment, and the food by a man who didn 't smile and who mumbled and slammed down our food. He then said it 's assistance dogs only and left. After a few minutes he returned and said our dog would have to leave. Whilst we understand that this was the 'rule ', as the outdoor area was practically empty and our dog was sitting quietly, we really didn 't see the issue. The way that it was dealt with ruined our morning and left us all feeling disgruntled. I guess some people just like to be rude unpleasant, but maybe the hospitality sector is not the place for them? We will certainly return to Wisbech Parkrun but WILL NOT return to the Wheatsheaf.
We went for dinner as it’s local and you know what there is to choose from. Ordered on the app and the drinks arrived within 5 minutes. Young waitress was very polite and was the same person who had just wiped all the table down prior to us sitting at it. Food came approximately 10 minutes after ordering and was piping hot and a good plate full. We even ordered desserts which were lovely too. Nice atmosphere in the place and not noisy would definitely recommend a Monday trip.
