This Is It! Southern Kitchen -b-q

I was so excited to try this facility. my daughter and I went in and saw a huge sign with 2 for $35 price. So I went on to look at the options and place my order while I was on the escape I wanted on the sign. paid $38.20 and asked for my drinks and dessert included in the special. they told me they had to ask for the special, and that I didn't ask, so I didn't get the special price. as a new owner of the facility I had no warning that was not the price and was a kind of secret special that had to be requested. I have fed my food and the workers continued to argue with each other while I and 9 year old daughters were eating fast so I could remove it from the escalating drama among the employees. the food was decent, but the service and the environment were terrible.

I agree this restaurant has really went down the food use to be awesome years ago. The food and the customer service is terrible food was dried out and old tasting and I brought my fiance here for the first time and he complained of his pork chops had so much bone he did not enjoy it at all total disaster we were both very disappointed and your workers behind the counter need to be upgraded to manners and politeness they were loud and rude.

First time there. It wasn't what I expected after looking them up on line but it is probably a sign of the times. The ppl working there are very friendly but not as helpful as they could have been knowing we had never been there. Out of the 3 of us having different things, the mac and cheese was very good and the cabbage and pork chop with rice and gravy was good.

I've seen commercials for this restaurant. I do not have one located on my side of town so when I visited an area where one was located I had to go. I was disappointed. I ordered smothered pork chop, rice, collards and broccoli casserole. The meat was so tough that it was not eatdible. The sides were okay. The service needs to be improved and the restuarant could stand a deep cleaning.

Quality has change for some reason, found hard plastic in my rice, spoke to manager, thankful they understood and offered me a a replacement meal and beverage.Got home and the beverage (peach lemonade you buy from the cooler) smelled soo foul. They dont put expiration dates on the beverages so who knows how old this drink is
