Cafe Rue Orleans - Fayetteville

Owner, Maudie Schmidt, ensures a delicious meal every time I go in. I've not eaten a menu item I didn't like. My fave is a lightly fried oyster plate. And her beignets are to die for!

I went for lunch and had the catfish poboy and seafood gumbo. Both were delish, but really loved the gumbo most. Going back for the brunch.

Best Cajun and seafood in NWA. I would personally recommend the catfish Tchoupitoulas but bring your appetite because it’s a lot.

Best catfish in NWA, and yes, I'm quit aware the catfish hole is also in Fayetteville. They can't hold a candle to Cafe Rue Orleans food. Best brunch in Fayetteville too.

Sunday Brunch was pretty crowded, and it makes the room very loud. Other than that, this is as close to New Orleans food as I've been in a long time! Very, very good and worth the wait.
