Bidrage med feedbackUnique local experience for very good price. When you go inside its like being teleported several centuries back in time but in a good way. Try the massage that is the real deal and afterwards you can have a cup of Turkish tea.
Brilliant local spot, old school hamam with sauna. Bit difficult when it came to the communication as they only spoke Turkish. But never the less had a great time. Brilliant massage by a gentleman called Hussain. Great value for money and clean facilities both for women and men. 5 stars!
Please don't go here! If you're like me and want to experience the traditional everywhere you go, instead of the touristic and overpriced, you might have come across this hamam. I really wish I had went with the untraditional this time. This hamam is smelly and dirty. I was not able to enjoy the experience because everything was moldy and a hard sweat smell was deeply impregnated in everything, especially in the towel they gave me. They use the same sponge on everybody I could see how she took the sponge that was used to exfoliate my dead skin and scrubbed the next girl without even giving it a rinse. Nobody speaks any language other than Turkish but they are not even trying to understand you and make themselves understood, like most Turkish people do. The woman instructing me ended up yelling at me because I didn't understand what I had to do. The place is also disastrous, deeply filthy, broken sauna door (which defeats the purpose of a sauna) and very badly maintained. But the main takeaway for me was the smell that I had to go days to forget.
Not a tourstic place. The building is very unique, and the hamam experience is very authentic. But the prices ARE TOURSTIC!! 300lira for 10 minutes in sauna, washing and scrabbing. I am sure the local don't pay the same. They asked me for tip after when no tip was deserved. They do not speak english. I would say it's a nice place if you are intrested in authentic experience.
First time in hammam . Local hammam best price in town ,it's not luxury but for a great experience it's best
