La Sirenetta - FASANO

Two nights we drove to Savelletri Di Fasano to the Tenuta's sister restaurant La Sirentta which is included in your half board option and we had two fantastic meals there. The staff at Le Sirenetta were so friendly, nice and chatty and more than anything when we arrived and I asked for vegetarian they asked me to tell them all the things I liked and then on both nights I was served up two of the most delicious vegetarian dishes. I did not catch the name of the gentleman that served us on the first night but he was just as helpful, friendly and polite as Antonio who served us on the second occasion, I was told that on the two nights we went there they had different chefs, but both those chefs knew how to do vegetarian food

Service was good, but hardly surprising as we were the only people there! Our full party failed to make it so we restricted ourselves to a starter (raw mussel,ricotta and sea-urchin dressing) which was good and some fried squid which was reasonable. The tables were an unusual feature being stone tops with an attractive enamel finish apparently individually created.
