California Pizza Kitchen Westfarms Mall Priority Seating

Not sure why CPK is on open table because they don’t honor reservations made on open table. I had a confirmed reservation from open table and the host said “well we don’t take reservations “ . I showed him the confirmation from open table and was told that’s a third party reservation and we don’t take reservations. They should be removed from open table.

The hostess seemed to have no idea what I was talking about when I said that we reserved a space on their wait list using opentable and sure enough there was no computer or OpenTable kiosk in sight at the greeter's desk.

I enjoyed my meal, but the pizza was a bit small for the price.

The mojitos were nothing like what we’ve had in the past. The chipotle chicken pizza was quite minimalistic, and we had to remind the staff twice to bring the additional toppings. By the time they arrived, it felt too late to salvage it. The pasta was overly bland and dry. We visited around 8:40 PM, so perhaps it was end-of-day fatigue, but the quality of the food and service was significantly below what we have experienced before.

The staff was very polite and offered help to my guests who do not speak English without being intrusive. It was wonderful to see bilingual employees.
