Ishtar Mediterranean Cuisine - Fargo

This place is absolutely delicious! So much food for little money; friendly, thoughtful, and helpful gentleman; great place when in need of a good gyro. The meat is tender and like nothing I've ever experienced, but with the veggies a refreshing, somewhat grilled taste. Definitely going again. Probably the best 20 bucks I've spent in awhile (I got a gyro and chicken shawarma).

I come here three times a week; I've known the chef for ten years, starting as a cook at another restaurant, and now he's opened his own, and I'm happy for him. I've traveled all over the world and in the United States, and I've eaten at numerous Mediterranean/Greek restaurants, but he is by far the only one who comes near to or equals my mother's cooking. Ameen (the chef) is a fantastic cook and a kind person.

Awesome, awesome food. I've been to a few Mediterranean style restaurants, and this is probably one of the best I've had. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I recommend this place!

The gentleman working today was amazing! Somebody had grabbed my order by mistake so he went through the trouble of making it fresh for us at closing time and served it for dine in on plates because it was too windy to eat outside! He also made food For another gal that came in just before closing as well. Excellent customer service on top of amazing food! Second time here and was very pleased with the food both times. I don’t do reviews usually but had to share this praise!

Ordered the shawarma plate online. It tasted amazing and authentic. I would definitely recommend to go here for Mediterranean food. Also, the staff was more than just professional; they welcomed us in, let us stay in and eat past closing, and tried their best to make it a positive experience. 10/10
